Minor Version Upgrades
Customers are entitled to all minor product updates free of charge. For example if you purchased v3.x you will be entitled to all v3.x versions upto v3.9 for free.
Major Version Upgrades
Major upgrades carry a small upgrade fee. This is because major upgrades offer new features and significant improvements. The upgrade cost is typically 40% of the original license price. Customers with support & discount subscriptions will be entitled to the 50% discount that's applied with product subscriptions.
If a significant major release is made within two months from the data of your purchase you will be entitled to the major upgrade free of charge. For example if you purchase v1.x on March 30th and we release a v2.x major update within a two month period from March 30th you will receive the major update free of charge.
If we add significant features to our products we may choose to move directly from a v2.6 release to a v3.0 release.
License Type Upgrades
License type upgrades are for clients wishing to upgrade from an End User License to a Developer License. We provide the ability to clients to upgrade from the End User License to the full source code Developer License on each product order page.
Upgrades are always provided with database upgrade scripts. This ensures your data is not lost during each upgrade.
